철원 화지리 마을 곳곳에 그려진 김선경 작가의 벽화 작업을 바탕으로, 회화의 따뜻함을 미디어아트로 재구성한 작품이다. 마을의 일상과 자연, 기억을 담은 벽화가 빛과 움직임의 언어로 다시 펼쳐지며, 철원의 이야기를 새로운 시선으로 전한다. 회화가 미디어로 확장되는 순간을 작품 속에 담아냈다.
The Story of Cheorwon Mural Village is a media art piece that reinterprets the warmth of painting, based on mural works by Kim Sun-kyung painted throughout Hwajiri Village. The murals, which capture the village’s everyday life, nature, and memories, unfold once again through the language of light and movement, offering a new perspective on the stories of Cheorwon.
Through this work, we observe the point where painting and media meet.
