“Melan” has gone missing. Four friends set out to find her, but their journey gradually loses the texture of reality as the visuals devolve into simpler forms. The deeper they descend into this inward world, the closer the last one comes to facing her own shadow — Melancholia. 〈MELAN〉 visualizes the distortion of reality born from unresolved grief, using the language of games to depict a backward flow of time driven by the desire to remain in the past.
